Meet DJ M3
Mark Odisho, better known by his stage name DJ M3 (short for: MIX MASTER MARK, given by one of his influences), was born in Chicago, Illinois 1985. As a child growing up, he'd watch his father spin ethnic music, he was quickly intrigued, practicing everyday on his father's equipment; and shortly thereafter learned to mix.
M3 is a person who has always had a passion for music. He has always been a part of the music world from a young age, around 12. From experimenting with musical instruments he came across djing through the international/urban genre around 14 years of age. Growing up listening to: DJ AM, DJ Speed, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Timberland inspired him to play American music. At 16 he worked hard to get his first set of decks and started doing small gigs. Slowly from there he was doing events at local clubs, weddings, and house parties. This has now led him to residencies with some of the main known spots in AZ.
M3's strength lies in setting the right mood in the right place, teasing the crowd, big or small, and pleasing the ears. Djing all sorts of venues, M3 has been able to learn new and dynamic techniques to keep party-goers on their feet and moving. As time has passed, doors have opened. He has now built cliental in many different areas and is increasing in talent gig after gig. M3 will always be a part of music, and music will be a part of him!
